Partnership With Youth

The YMCA Partnership with Youth Campaign annually raises funds for financial assistance programs at the YMCA. The YMCA offers this support for qualifying youth and families to participate in YMCA programs and membership. No one is ever turned away from YMCA membership or programs due to lack of funds, and the YMCA Partnership With Youth Campaign helps make that possible. The Nishna Valley Family YMCA 2010 Partnership With Youth Campaign's goal is $80,000. 100% of each dollar donated to the Partnership With Youth Campaign goes directly to not only youth and family services but to many others such as:

Youth Programs 30%
Scholarships 40%
Afterschool care 5%
Summer Yers 5%
Splash Water 10%
(Safety program to All Atlantic 2nd graders.)
Jr. High 10%
(After School solutions program.)

Facts

Fact: All of the money raised in this Campaign is used to support the Y's programs and memberships for children, teens and families in the Nishna Valley community.

Fact: The YMCA uses contributed funds to ensure that those who are unable to pay the stated fees are able to participate.

Fact: The Y's financial assistance program is made possible primarily through the funds raised in this annual campaign.

Fact: Membership dues only cover the day-to-day operational costs of the YMCA facility. Membership dues do not support the financial assistance program or the array of programs we offer to youth.

The proceeds from the tournament will be used to build up our PARTNERSHIP WITH YOUTH fund. This allows the YMCA to reach out to children & families in need so no one is left out - no one is denied access to the YMCA and its programs due to inability to pay. Our mission: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
