Sunnyside Pool is closed for the season.  The pool will reopen in May 2012.

As of May 18, 2011, Sunnyside pool is being managed by the Nishna Valley Family YMCA.  All questions or concerns regarding the pool should be directed to the Nishna Valley Family YMCA.  Melanie Dunphy, Aquatic Director/Adult Fitness Director at the YMCA will be managing the outdoor pool.  Please feel free to call or email her at 712-243-3934 or mdunphy@nishnavalleyymca.com.

Sunnyside Pool Hours

The pool will be open 1:00pm - 8:00pm.  The pool will close early some evenings for swim meets.  These dates will be posted on the website when these dates become available. 

Fees:

Daily Pass                   $   4.00
2 & Under                   No Charge but person bringing the child will be charged
Single Season Pass    $  70.00
Family Season Pass    $105.00
(For Immediate Family Members Only)

Pool Party Rental Fees

1 - 30 People  $ 75.00/hour
31 - 50 People  $125.00/hour
51 - 75 People  $150.00/hour
76 - Over People $200.00/hour

This fee covers the use of the facility and the lifeguards.  The concession stand will be open if requested.

Private Swimming Lessons

Private Swimming Lessons are available at Sunnyside Pool.  These lessons consist of 6 - 30 minutes lessons.  Times are decided between the student and instructor.  (A missed lesson without calling the instructor, Sunnyside Pool or the Nishna Valley Family YMCA prior to the scheduled lesson will count towards one of the 6 lessons.)
