BodyAttack is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina.  Movements are simple, high-energy, and provide a platform for achieving the highest personal levels of aerobic and anaerobic fitness.  No frills.  No equipment.  No place to hide!  Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor.   AND THE COST IS FREE!

Cardio Cycling

This class is a great fat-burning cardio workout on 17 new state-of-the-art LeMond Revmaster stationary training bikes which offer an unbeatable workout, infinite adjustability, and a true "road bike" feel.  This program is great, whether you're looking for a great winter cycling workout, or want to get an early start on your outdoor cycling or RAGBRAI training, or are just looking for a fun and heart-healthy exercise.   It's a high energy class with great music to motivate you through your workout.

     Note: Class is open to the first 17 people to show up.
Fee:  You can either buy a one-time drop in class card for $3 for members and $6 for non-members or a twelve punch card which is $30 for members and $60 for non-members with each class being one punch. 
 

Water Walkers

An aqua class with a kick!  Always something different, but guaranteed to give you a great cardiovascular and toning workout.  Walking may be done in the deep water or the shallow end.  30 minutes of water walking is comparable to 1 1/2 hours of walking on land.  Floatation belts provided.

Aqua-Tone  

This water class is full of great toning and conditioning exercises for the entire body.  Start with warming up the muscles, move right into a cardio workout and then tone those arms, abs, and legs.  Come enjoy a great workout!

SilverSneakers I

 

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

Arthritis Water Class

An adult recreational exercise program designed to accommodate the abilities of individuals with arthritis and other related diseases.  The warmth, buoyancy, and resistive property of the water can help decrease pain and stiffness and improve or maintain joint flexibility for those with arthritis, rheumatic diseases, or related musculoskeletal conditions.

Hydro-Fit

Enjoy this energetic, aerobic workout.  A variety of exercises - something different everyday, including cardio, toning and tons of fun.  Come take part in this 45 minute workout!

Early Bird Water Workout

This class is for all fitness levels.  A variety of water exercises which combine aerobic conditioning and water toning.  Something different all the time.

Yoga

Roll out of bed and into class.  We will have you energized so you can start your day right!  This class will build strength at an easy pace bringing you to a relaxed body and mind.

Time: 6:00 - 7:00am  Tuesday and Thursday
Fee: $40/punch card for members; $80/punch card for non-members    (YMCA punch card does not apply to this class)
        Each yoga punch card has 8 punches - good for 8 classes.

Coed Power Volleyball

When: League - September through April 30th

Racquetball Challenge Night

Anyone is welcome to come test their racquetball skills.  The winner stays as long as they keep winning.
